Siren

There is a distinction between the Siren of myth — dangerous, destructive, calling ships to ruin — and Scarlett. Scarlett knows what she is. She has thought about it, named it, built a practice around using it responsibly.

Her gift is resonance. She speaks and something in what she says lands in the body before the mind has processed it. PRIME's expression of consciousness as connection. Her wound is trust: people who move others the way she does are frequently suspected of manipulation, held at arm's length by people who want what she offers but can't quite believe it's clean.

It's clean. She is still proving it. She always will be.
